Observation 1-Description of Area

Location: The Village Road

Time of Day: 6:03

Temperature: 60 degrees

Weather Conditions: sunny & partly cloudy

Soil Conditions: dry except for where snow is melting

This observation takes place on Teton Village Road. There is a small pond hidden behind some willow and pine trees which a population of ducks live. In this area there is a community of willows, birds and plants that allow for alot of fauna and flora in this area. This area has alot of soil with grass and weeds nearby. A pasture is present across the road where cattle and horses graze during the summer. Occasionally moose are existing in this area which eat the willows. Pine trees, willow trees and spruce trees are present in this area by the pond. There is lots vegetation so there will be a high level of fauna in this area. Some birds that i have noticed to be living in this area are robins, and magpies. The robins have created nests in corners of the roof with leftover sticks, plants, etc. My area has lots of light which allows many plants to grow and provide homes for other organisms.
